Pickup is the moment with the least room for error and the least time to think. ChildRelay is built for those ninety seconds at the gate.

How it works

01

Parent

Adds the child once, and decides who sees which parts.

02

Safety profile

Allergies, EpiPen, instructions, emergency contacts.

03

Organization

Asks for specific information. Asking grants nothing.

04

Staff

See only what the parent approved, only while active.

05

Authorized pickup

A standing list, or a pass that expires the same day.

06

Verified handoff

Checked at the gate, then recorded — who, when, how.

At the gate

Clear enough to act on with a queue behind you.

Not a dashboard. A few plain answers, in words a counselor can use immediately.

ChildRelay confirms the pass is genuine and still live. Checking that the person matches stays with your staff — we never claim to have done it for them.

Tap to call

Five things that matter, one tap away — and the parent can see that it was opened, by whom, and when.

What you can do

Control that stays with the parent.

01

You choose what each place sees

A camp asks for five things. You approve three, and three is what they get. The limit is applied by the database itself, so no screen can accidentally show the rest.

02

Passes that expire on their own

Send a grandparent a pass for this afternoon. It works once, expires within the day, and you can withdraw it from your phone at any moment.

03

Checked at that moment, not earlier

Every scan asks the server right then. A pass you withdrew a minute ago fails at the gate, even though the code in their hand looks exactly the same.

04

Leaving and coming back is normal

Check-in opens a visit and check-out closes it. A child who goes home for lunch and returns is two visits, not a contradiction the staff have to argue with.

05

Emergency information in one tap

Severe allergy, EpiPen, instructions and two contacts to call. Every opening is recorded where you can see it, because the same action that shows the information writes the record.

06

A record nobody can quietly change

What happened stays what happened — the history cannot be edited or deleted by staff, by an organization, or by us.

Parents

Fill it in once. Decide every time.

Add your child, and approve exactly what each organization asked for. Your activity feed shows every arrival, every pickup, and who collected them.

Staff

Fast at the gate. Honest in the record.

Check a child in, scan a pass, confirm a handoff. Every release is written down with who took them and on what basis.

Organizations

Ask for what you need. Nothing more.

Set up your staff and request the information your programme actually requires — and lose access the moment a parent withdraws it.

Privacy and accountability

Privacy that holds even when nobody is watching.

The rules are not a setting somebody could forget to switch on. Access is enforced inside the database itself, so a screen that failed to filter would simply return nothing. Opening a child’s emergency information writes the record in the same action that shows it, and that history cannot be edited or deleted afterwards — not by staff, not by an organization, and not by us.
